The World Building (also known as Pulitzer Building) was located at Park Row at Frankfort Street in Manhattan and was completed in 1890. This building was designed by George B. Post and stood 309 feet tall with 20 floors. The former world’s tallest building was demolished in 1955 to allow for expansion of the entrance ramp to the Brooklyn Bridge. This pewter replica stands 5 inches tall and is finished in antique copper.
