The Sky Needle (also known as Miglin-Beiter Skyneedle) of Chicago was proposed and cancelled. The Sky Needle’s location was to be on S. Wells and W. Madison Streets and was to be completed in 1988. This building was designed by Cesar Pelli & Associates Architects and was to have 125 floors and reach 2000 feet in height! This pewter replica stands 9- 3/8 inches tall and is finished in new gold.
