ANN-5 

  

The ANN-5 lamp panel provides a central audiovisual monitoring point for our corridor mounted PZ-M remote lamp-buzzers.. 

  

The PZ-M remote buzzer includes two modular jacks, one that connects to the room at the DPX-M, NC-1 or NC-2 and one for connection to the ANN-5.

Setup & Testing 

  

1. Select a central location for the 2 gang ANN-5. Multiple units may be stacked for larger systems. 

  

2. Mount the supplied back box to the wall securely. 

  

3. Run 6 conductor plug ended modular cables from PZ-M  units to the ANN-5 

  

4. Dress cables into the opening on the 2 Gang back box. 

  

5. Plug corresponding cable into associated jack as above. 

  

6. Complete connections as shown to the right and test for proper lamp and tone operation. 

  

7. Secure the ANN-5 faceplate with supplied screws, test system again. 

  

8. This system must be tested after each reinstallation and at regular intervals 

  

The mechanical integrity of these devices must be maintained to assure proper operation. All mounting hardware, cables, connectors and plugs must be regularly inspected for wear and tear.  All devices must be securely mounted at all times. If a mounting situation arises that does not seem safe do not use the system! Contact our technical department for advice on correcting those situations.
