The
U.S. Steel Building
(now 1 Liberty
Plaza) is located at 165 Broadway at Liberty Street in Lower Manhattan and was
completed in 1973. This tall steel and glass structure was designed
by the architectural firm of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and stands 743 feet tall
with 54 floors. The Singer Building and City Investing Building were demolished
to make way for this building. This pewter replica stands just less than 6
inches tall and is finished in Black.
