The Problem : Audible alarm signals have a limited range and their source can be misleading.

The Solution : To sense the presence of an alarm our Model : MIC-M noise sensor is "Velcro'd" within 2 inches of the audible alarm on the monitored piece of equipment (no direct connections required). The MIC-M is adjusted to "hear" only the alarm signal and when it is triggered it sends an output to the host DPX-M time delay controller.

The time delay controller can be adjusted from 0 to 30 seconds to absorb minor nuisance alarms. When the delay period is reached the DPX-M provides its own outputs, one which can plug into a Nurse Call system and one which powers our Model : PZ-M remote buzzer.

The remote buzzer can be "Velcro'd" to a hallway ceiling grid, a door frame or corridor light providing a complete portable alarm enhancement and extension system.

The manner in which these alarms can appear to your personnel is determined by the existing Nurse Call system and the wiring provided for these features. We have the experience to assist in setting up any configuration that is desirable and / or practical to your facility.
