The Singer Building was located at 149 Broadway in Lower Manhattan and was completed in 1908. This building was designed by Ernest Flagg and stood 612 feet tall with 47 floors. Singer held title of World’s Tallest for 18 months until Met Life Insurance Company Tower was built. Singer Tower was demolished in the late 1960’s to make way for 1 Liberty Plaza. This pewter replica stands 4-1/2 inches tall and is finished in new pewter. This model’s scale is 1 inch = 150 feet.

I saw in person only once in 1958
Doug in Canada - 11/28/2009
This neat model represents a building which should never have been demolished.
It is one of my favorites.
